SIZING GUIDE
CHOOSING THE RIGHT SIZE
Nothing is more frustrating than new gear that feels too tight or moves around during sparring. Because you order from our outlet online and cannot try items on, we are happy to guide you with this sizing guide.
Please note: These are guidelines based on the standards of Top Ten and Manus. If you are unsure between two sizes, feel free to contact us for advice.
BOXING GLOVES (OZ)
Boxing gloves are not sized S, M, or L, but in OZ (ounces). OZ refers to the weight of the padding. The heavier the glove, the more padding it has—and therefore the more protection for both you and your training partner.
Training & Sparring: The heavier you are, the more OZ you need for safety.
Competition: Fixed glove weights often apply (commonly 10 oz), but for training we always recommend heavier gloves.

Pro Tip: Do you wear hand wraps? Keep in mind that wraps take up space inside the glove. If in doubt, choosing a slightly larger glove (e.g. 14 oz instead of 12 oz) is often more comfortable.
SHIN GUARDS
For shin guards, your height, not your clothing size, is the most important factor. The guard should cover your entire shin, from just above the ankle to just below the knee.

To determine the correct headguard size, measure the circumference of your head. Measure just above your eyebrows, around the widest part at the back of your head.

BJJ GI’S
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu gi’s use a unique sizing system starting with an “A” (for Adults). Unlike regular clothing, this system is based on a combination of height and weight.
Please note: BJJ gi’s are often made of cotton and may shrink slightly after washing (cold wash recommended).
